  • Production Labourer

    The position is responsible for assisting a production lead in the fabrication and/or assembly of a variety of wastewater treatment systems.

    Job Description:

    • Read of schematics and instructions to assemble Wastewater Treatment System products to high standards of quality
    • Prevent and minimize defect rates through use of standardized operating procedures and continuous improvement activities.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to perform light to medium tasks such as lifting (Up to<15kg, Average =5kg), pushing, pulling on a frequent basis, frequent upper extremities use. You have a proven strong work ethic with exceptional employment references, with a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Physically able to lift products up to 50 lbs.
    • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision.
    • Significant use of memory.
    • Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Steel-toed safety boots required.
    • One year of related experience in a shop is considered an asset.

    • $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Create and edit video content for social media, website, and marketing use
    • Capture photos and videos at job sites, events, and installations
    • Develop and schedule posts for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
    • Create graphics and promotional materials
    • Produce simple animated or rendered videos to illustrate product processes and system flows
    • Help maintain and update website content (WordPress) and internal document portals
    • Collaborate with the team to bring marketing ideas and campaigns to life
    • Ensure content aligns with company branding and messaging

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
    • Strong interest in content creation, social media, and visual storytelling
    • Experience creating videos, graphics, or animations (personal or professional)
    • Ability to create or learn how to create simple animated or rendered explainer-style videos
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
    • Willingness to visit job sites to capture content (transportation provided from the office)
    • Self-starter with a creative mindset and a “figure it out” attitude
    • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and editing
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment

    Technical Skills (Flexible):

    We don’t require specific software experience, what matters is your ability to create quality content. You should be comfortable using tools such as:

    • Video editing software (any platform)
    • Graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or similar)
    • Animation or rendering tools (e.g., Blender, After Effects, or similar)
    • Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
    • Basic website editing (WordPress experience is an asset)

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to reliably commute to the office
    • Must provide a portfolio (videos, photos, social media work, or design samples)
