Waterloo Biofilter Systems Inc. has been recognized in the Globe and Mail’s third-annual ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies.
Waterloo Biofilter is a Canadian-owned and operated company that develops, designs, manufactures and maintains advanced onsite wastewater treatment (septic) systems. We began manufacturing environmentally friendly wastewater treatment systems in Guelph nearly three decades ago and are committed to high quality treatment, low electricity usage, and system robustness.
Since the first pilot installation in 1991, our technology has proven itself to be the most reliable system available. Our company continually strives to lead the industry in innovation and service. We are responsible for numerous advances in our field, both scientific and technological, that are used every day to help protect our natural environment and water supplies.
Waterloo Biofilter currently employs over 45 people in its Guelph based head office and supplies wastewater treatment products throughout Canada and the United States.
The Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies editorial ranking aims to celebrate entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded, independent businesses in Canada. In total, 448 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking, the full list of 2021 winners is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine—out now—and online.
